Cambridge Sound Management Joins Interior Design’s
Health Care Giants Advisory Council
WALTHAM, MA, November 12, 2014 – Cambridge Sound Management (CSM), Cambridge Sound Management (CSM), a leading provider of sound masking solutions, today announced it has joined Interior Design’s Health Care Giants Advisory Council. CSM is the first sound masking firm to join the council.
“The top health care facility design firms make patient comfort and confidentiality a priority. To this end, sound masking solutions play a major role in the success of design projects in the industry,” says David Sholkovitz, Director of Marketing for Cambridge Sound Management. “As a leader in the sound masking space, we are excited about this appointment and welcome the opportunity to continue to drive thought leadership around acoustics and sound masking within the health care facility design community.”
Sound Masking is the addition of an unobtrusive background sound to an environment, similar to the sound of airflow, that reduces the intelligibility of human speech and decreases distractions by “masking” other sounds in the affected environment. The resulting environment is more productive, private and comfortable. The technology can help hospitals increase HCAHPS scores and reduce HIPAA violations, making it a popular solution for health care facility managers in recent years.
CSM’s introduction to the council will be kicked-off at Interior Design‘s Health Care Giants Celebration at the Fairweather in San Diegoon November 16. The Company will also participate in numerous panel discussions and teleconferences for designers and architects throughout the year with the council.
